Firefly by Adobe Generates 1B Images, Now Goes Global
July 13 2023
Adobe’s web service, Firefly, is now globally available and supports text prompts in 100 languages, including Klingon. The user interface is available in 20 languages. The company announced that Firefly, which was launched in March, has generated over one billion assets on the web and in Photoshop, making it one of Adobe’s most successful beta releases. The Firefly tool is unique because the images created are commercially safe, as they are trained on a corpus of images from Adobe’s stock imagery service, even providing indemnity to its enterprise users.
