Amazon CodeWhisperer's new customization feature improves suggestions
October 17 2023
Amazon CodeWhisperer has announced a new customization feature that allows the addition of code recommendations from private code repositories. Frequently, developers require code recommendations based on their internal libraries and APIs. Most existing AI coding tools, which only use open-source codes, don’t have this customizing ability. The preview feature of Amazon CodeWhisperer now allows developers to receive real-time code recommendations inclusive of their internal libraries, APIs, packages, classes, and methods. These codes can be based on company-specific internal services as the tool understands the intent and selects the best APIs for the task. The feature also promises real-time customized code recommendations along with data protection.
