Character.AI launches group chat feature for human and AI interaction
October 11 2023
Character.AI, an AI chatbot startup, has introduced a new feature that allows users to create a group chat with multiple AI characters. Known as the Character Group Chat feature, it enables users to chat with their favourite AI characters and friends simultaneously, facilitating both social connections and collaborations. Users could experiment by setting up conversations amongst AI figures such as historical scientists or mythological gods. It can also be used practically, for topic-based group chats with a chatbot to aid in discussions. This feature will initially be available to c.ai+ subscribers for feedback, and will eventually be made available to the general public.
